Centre for the Prevention of Risky Virtual Communication (PRVoK Center)
This certified center focuses on hazardous behavior associated with the use of information and communication technologies. Prevention of hazardous behavior on the internet or cell phone. Education, intervention and research in cyber bullying, sexting, cyber grooming, stalking or social networks.
DigiDen
Tech lab DigiDen is run by PRVoK Center in association with commercial and non-commercial entities. It mainly focuses on a meaningful use of IT technologies in education but also in everyday life.
Center for the Research of Healthy Lifestyle
Research, application, education and counselling in healthy lifestyle and health literacy, ageing, reproductive health, nutrition or mental hygiene.
Center for the Lifelong Learning
Educational institution accredited by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport. It provides requalification, specialized courses and further education for teaching staff, general public, companies and institutions. It organizes entertainment-education activities for children and youth, Alumni Days, silver and golden graduation ceremonies.
Institute of Special Education Studies
The largest of its kind among academic workplaces focused on special-needs education in the Czech Republic. It executes a wide range of fields of study. Besides teaching, it performs an immense work in scientific research and publishing, issues peer-reviewed scientific Journal of Exceptional People, holds scientific conferences and is a successful manager of scores of research, innovative or development projects.
Support Center for Students with Special Needs
This university facility provides comprehensive expert counselling, technical and therapeutic services to special needs students enrolled in one of the eight faculties of Palacký University. The center is a part of the Institute of Special Education Studies at the Faculty of Education UP and among other things, it provides simultaneous transcript, assistants helping to navigate architectonic barriers, guiding services, aid rentals, diagnosis of specific learning disabilities, speech therapy intervention, or interpreters of sign language and/or sign Czech, and oral interpreting.
Association of Special Education Students
This civic association joins together special education students and is sponsored by the Institute of Special Education Studies at the Faculty of Education UP. It organizes lectures, discussion forums, workshops dealing with special education topics. It holds fund-raisers, works with experts, families and the very people with disabilities or handicaps. We make special education more publicly accessible.

The institute focuses on foreign language education and education of foreign language teachers (English and German).
Co-ed chamber choir ATENEO
An offer to hold a concert. The ATENEO repertoire is as diverse as its membership. It ranges from the so-called old music to modern and in some cases post-modern. In terms of styles, its repertoire runs from the classical music through choir versions of folk and popular songs as far as to pieces of minor genres such as blues, spirituals and gospels.
TechnoLab – public workshop for schools and handymen
The workshop is equipped with state-of-the-art tools and open for kindergartens and schools and as well as for public. Even the most complex projects can be created here. One will find here wide-ranging equipment – traditional workbenches with vices, carpenter´s benches, saws, lathes, planers, drills, screwdrivers but also lasers, 3D printers, CNC machine tools and robotic background. There are also special and safe machines for kids aged 5+ (lathes and wood cutting saws). Workshop capacity is two units for 15 persons.
Basement – the art gallery
It offers high-quality cultural program for general and professional public through regular exhibitions with accompanying program including e.g. various forms of gallery education, lectures, discussions, presentations of artists and notable cultural figures.
